February Artist of the Month: Winnie

Q: What grade are you in?

A: I am in 11th grade

Q: How long have you been doing art?

A: I’ve been doing art since I was a child. Probably around nine or ten years old. 

Q: What got you interested in making art?

A: ​​I got interested in art from my older sister, Angie, when she introduced me to her art, and I got interested in it. 

Q: What does your process for making are look like?

A: The process I have is just thinking of what to do first, what kind of materials I’ll use, and then picking out my subject. I also really try to pick a subject that I will not get easily bored with since I love to continue challenging myself. 

Q: Do you have a favorite piece? so why?

A: My favorite piece is the one I am currently working on, which is a colored pencil drawing of a tiger.
