About
This site showcases the work of over 40 Southeast Polk student storytellers. The students are involved in Video Production, Yearbook, and Rampage, which are all yearlong workshop-style courses. Video Production students focus on visual storytelling. Students in the course work independently and collaboratively to produce digital media that tells the stories of Southeast Polk High School. Yearbook provides students with experience in all facets of a print publication. All students gain experience with journalistic writing, photography, copy editing, proofreading, and publication design. Rampage provides students with experience in all areas of newspaper production. Areas of study include reviewing all areas of journalistic writing, media law and ethics, advertising sales and design, photography, copyediting and proofreading, publication design and page layout, and journalism technology. Southeast Polk Publications is always eager to accept ideas and suggestions. Anyone interested in collaborating with us can contact Kristin Behrens ([email protected]) and Shannon Boshart ([email protected]).
