Q: How long have you been running track?
A: I have been running track since seventh grade.
Q: What got you into track?
A: I got into track because I wanted to try a new sport and shortly after I realized it was my new favorite sport.
Q: What is your favorite part about running at SEP?
A: My favorite part about running at SEP is running with my closest friends.
Q: Who do you look to for advice?
A: Whenever I need advice I will either go ask my coaches, because they want me to be the best I can be, or I will ask my teammates because they will be honest with me and give me other perspectives.
Q: What superstitions do you have before meets?
A: The night before a meet I must eat pasta. No other meal.
Q: What are the challenges you have faced during track? How do you overcome them?
A: Sometimes competition can be stressful or nerve racking, but talking with positive teammates can help settle the nerves.
Q: What will you miss about high school track and field?
A: The thing that I will miss most is running with some of my best friends and the coaches that have coached me for years.
Q: What events do you run?
A: I run 400s and 800s.
Q: What do you plan to do after high school?
A: After high school I’m attending Minnesota State University Mankato to run track and study psychology.
