The 2019 boys cross country varsity team places 3rd at the state qualifier meet, allowing them to advance to state.Senior Drake Hanson was the number one runner on the varsity team. He got an all-conference individual and qualified as an individual runner at the 2019 state meet.Freshman Cole Kyer, junior Cade Nickell and senior Connor Welsh ran on the JV team at the Newton Meet. The team ended in 4th place wit h71 points.The 2019 boys cross country JV team posed for a picture after the last meet at Fort Dodge. The JV team finished in 3rd place with 69 points.
