Q: How long have you been playing golf?
A: I’ve been playing golf for 3 years; I started my freshman year.
Q: What is your favorite part of playing golf?
A: I love being outside and I like the mental toughness that golf brings.
Q: Are there any big accomplishments you’ve made so far this golf season?
A: One big accomplishment I had was winning the Indianola invitational. I shot sixty-nine and won by three strokes.
Q: Have you faced any challenges this golf season?
A: Yes, I started the season off really slow, but I kept practicing and I was able to start playing well.
Q: Do you have any role models or people you look up to for encouragement?
A: I look up to my dad because he works hard to provide for me and my family.
Q: Is there any advice you’d give to other athletes?
A: Always have a positive attitude.
Q: Will you continue to play golf in your future?
A: Yes, I will play golf in my future. I might go to college for it, but I’m not sure.
Q: What is a goal you want to achieve before the end of the season?
A: The big goal I have is to win State.
