Fall Starbucks Recommendations

With just two months remaining until 2021, now is the prime moment for coffee lovers to enjoy a taste of caffeine. Coffee is a popular beverage among many individuals, whether being adults working at jobs or teens in high school. The big question that many people argue about is which Starbucks drink is the best? So my two siblings and I went out to Starbucks to answer that question. After tasting some of their popular drinks, I was able to create a top three list of the best drinks that I think all coffee lovers will enjoy this fall season.

1: Cinnamon Dolce Latte

The Cinnamon Dolce Latte isn’t all that popular considering it’s only a latte, unlike the more seasonal drinks. This drink is basically an espresso, but with freshly steamed milk and cinnamon dolce flavored syrup, topped with whipped cream and a cinnamon dolce topping. When I first sipped it, it was pretty sweet, which I was surprised by considering the coffees I’ve tried before were a bit more bitter to the taste. All I could smell was the cinnamon which masked the scent and taste of the coffee, so it wasn’t like drinking coffee, but more of a milky cinnamon beverage. Since the coffee taste was mostly masked, it was very enjoyable to have and if I were to rate it out of ten, I’d give this drink an eight. So if there are any drinkers who are looking for a sweet drink without a strong coffee scent or taste, then the Cinnamon Dolce Latte is the one for you.

2: Pumpkin Spice Latte

Of course, a popular drink fitting for the fall season would have to be the classic Pumpkin Spice Latte. This drink, like the Cinnamon Dolce, is also an espresso combined with steam milk into a mixture of pumpkin and traditional fall spices, topped with whipped cream and pumpkin spice. It was pretty bitter at first, but that’s expected seeing as how that was my first coffee ever but at the end of it, it had a chocolate taste to it. I wasn’t sure if it was my tastebuds or not, but it was a decent drink so out of ten, I’d give this fall classic a six out of 10.

3: Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino

Finally on the list is the Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino. “This drink consists of roast coffee, mocha sauce, and Frappuccino chips blended with milk and ice layered on top with chocolate cookie crumble, vanilla whipped cream, mocha drizzle, and even more chocolate cookie crumble,” according to Starbucks. It’s basically an extremely chocolate drink that was recommended to me by a friend. It was a very strong tasting chocolate beverage and while it did cover a ton of the coffee taste, I’m personally not a crazy fan of chocolate. However, it was pretty appealing to the eye with the amount of chocolate contained inside. The aftertaste of this one was the coffee part so it wasn’t too terrible and rating this out of ten, I’d give this extreme chocolate drink a five out of 10.
