Apple Cider Donuts
Ingredients:
- 2 ¼ cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ⅔ teaspoon nutmeg
- Dash of cloves
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ¾ cup apple cider
- 1 cup sugar
- ⅓ cup plain greek yogurt
- 3 tablespoons canola oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 large eggs
- Cinnamon sugar for topping
Directions (makes 12 donuts):
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease donut pan.
- Combine flour baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl. Stir together with a whisk.
- In a separate bowl whisk together apple cider, sugar, yogurt, oil, and eggs.
- Add yogurt mixture to the flour mixture and stir until combined.
- Place batter in donut pan and bake for 12-15 minutes. Let it cool in the pan for 2 minutes, then move onto a wire rack.
- While the donuts are still warm, coat them thoroughly with a cinnamon sugar mixture.
