Holiday Blondies
In a normal year of Rampage, Ms. B is famous for her blondies. So what could be better than a holiday-themed blondie? A delicious mix between cake and a brownie, a blondie is the perfect holiday treat, they don’t need refrigeration and the flavor possibilities are endless.
Ingredients:
3/4 cup butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
½ cup packed brown sugar
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
2 cups all purpose flour
¾ tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
1 cup white chocolate chips
2 crushed candy canes
1/2 cup red and green sprinkles
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350° and grease a muffin pan with cooking spray. (Using muffin tins is optional.) In a large bowl using a hand mixer, mix melted butter and both brown and white sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla and mix until combined.
- Then add the flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix after all ingredients are in the bowl. Next, gently fold in gently crushed candy canes, sprinkles, and white chocolate chips.
- Press the batter into the prepared pan and bake until golden and still slightly soft in the middle, 15-25 minutes (Poke with a toothpick and if it comes out clean it is done).
- Let cool completely before taking them out of the pan. Then enjoy!
