Jensen Jones

Q: How long have you been into art?

A: Since elementary school.

Q: What advice would you give to younger or aspiring artists?

A: Practice on your own time because you’ll get better faster.

Q: What is an art class you recommend?

A: Painting with Wetzel.

Q: Have you ever entered art into competitions?

A:  I have not, but I plan to this year.

Q: What plans do you have for art after high school?

A: I am going to DMACC and then I plan to decide on a university.

Q: What will you miss most about the art at SEP?

A:  Definitely the teachers and the environment overall.

Q: Why and how did you get into art?

A: I started drawing and painting with my sister when I was younger and I really enjoyed it.

Q: What art project are you most proud of?

A: The painting I did in Ms. Wetzel’s class and the black and white drawing I did this year.

Q: What kind of challenges have you faced involving art? How have you overcome them?

A: Not knowing what to draw leading to me taking long breaks, but when I am back into classes at the high school I always figure it out.
